""I gave my best, but my best wasn't good enough", well, if you gave out your best and it wasn't good enough, then it wasn't your best."
I heard this earlier, and I know some people are just trying to be positive, but can we be realistic here? Sometimes, we need to accept that not everyone is capable of doing things some people are good/great/better at, and YOU, saying that it wasn't their best, may be the reason why they stop trying. YES; maybe that wasn't your point, but in some way, it could've been an iron thrown onto their face, because WHAT IF it was their best and gave it their all and effort, but you just failed to realize it? The possibilities are just endless on what runs inside the mind of a human being, and not everyone has the same opinion as the other, and the same way of thinking. MAYBE it's because you don't notice the effort they put onto it. MAYBE you just don't see how hard they try. I have nothing against the person who said this, and I am not saying that I am one of those people this person was referring to (since the person wasn't actually referring to anyone), but sometimes, we need to open our eyes and remember that the world is not full of rainbows and happiness. Sometimes, we need to open our eyes AND our minds, and be logical. PEOPLE, IT'S 2014.
