VERY VERY HEATED RANT: Concert Tickets

Earlier today, One Direction Philippines (Official1D_PHIL) officially announced that One Direction are coming here to the Philippines. Along with that, they also announced the ticket prices for the long-awaited concert. They simply posted a photo with a description that contained the ticket prices and when they are going on sale, which is on May 23rd, 2014, exactly 4 days from now, and as they announced the details, which were just passed down to them by the sponsors or company/ies in charge, These are what they get.

Just to clarify, I am not from 1DPH, nor am I an officer or an admin, But you must understand that the ticket prices and the date of when they go on sale are not within their hands. Like I, and they said, the information were just simply passed down to them, and they were just doing their job like any other normal street team announcing it. Let me just remind you that they do not get paid for doing this. They do not get free concert tickets. They do not get special items, or whatsoever, but they still choose to serve us. 

Most of you people don't notice, but the whole time they've been helping us. If it weren't for their help, the boys wouldn't even be able to come here until now. They united us Juan Directioners, they helped organize events, helped organize launches, did some petitions, helped other Juan Directioners via social media, and most of all, helped the boys notice us. If you haven't noticed, whenever there seems to be a problem with the company or sponsor, it is ALWAYS them who gets blamed by some ungrateful people. BEAR WITH THEM FOR THEY TOO ARE HUMAN AND EASILY GET SICK OF YOUR BULLSHIT. 

You know what the other problem is? Why do we need to bring up a conversation of someone's wealth status just because they can afford things some people cannot? It wasn't their fault they may have been born rich or that they're wealthy, so why hate? Sure, they can afford concert tickets, merchandise, so why hate them for it? If you were in their position and can buy those too you wouldn't even hesitate. What if someone hated you just because you have food on the table at night? What if someone hated you because you have warm water to cleanse yourself with? What if someone hated you because you clothed in yourself in nice clothes? All actions have consequences, it is up to you if you are willing to face them. Irrelevance is what makes your point/reason invalid, so if you're fighting for something or a cause, make sure you are reasonable and that it isn't just something that came from a product of your envy/jealousy.

Another thing is, why do you guys care if celebrities want to buy tickets and watch the show? Ano?

EH ANO BANG PAKIALAM NIYO SA TRIP NILA, it's their life, don't tell them what to do, and as long as they're not hurting anyone in the process, why do you care? It's their money, they earned it, and it's also from their hard work. You see, just like you, they worked hard for their money, so instead of hating them for it, gumawa ka ng paraan para makabili ka rin ng concert tickets.

Rant: Self-Harm

I hate self-harm.

I do not hate people who self-harm.

I hate people who like to post photos, or tell other people publicly that they self-harm.

I hate people that think every single person that self-harms is an attention whore. 

Let me get down to business. People self-harm because of depression. Whether it be drugs, cutting, alcohol, suicide attempts, it is an act of self-harm. These days, most kids spend a lot of their time on social media, and websites such as Twitter, Facebook, on Tumblr are where a huge number of teenagers decide to express freely about themselves, or what they feel. Sometimes, other go on social media sites for likes, faves, retweets, reblogs, or comments that appeal to a form of flattery. People who crave too much of these are called, "attention-seeking", which most of the time for me is true. The problem with this generation, is rather than consulting actual or personal help from people is that they decide to post things on the internet without even actually thinking. Some attention-seeking people like to post photos of themselves, cutting.

This is the real thing: People who post photos of them cutting, or saying that they're going to commit suicide, or whatever it may be, DON'T NEED HELP. You know what they need? ATTENTION. Maybe they may need help because (excuse my language) they're offensive pieces of fucks. How is that offensive, you ask? Well, for one thing, it's offensive because it's almost as if you're mocking the people who actually DO cut and need help. Lots of people who cut don't post it. Also, they don't try and consult for help anymore which is what they really need, because for one thing, because of people romanticizing this bullshit, and people who post cutting/cuts, and think it's socially acceptable are the reason. THESE people. THESE people who actually DO need help can't ask for help, because they are simply misunderstood because of what these people have done to make the society believe, otherwise. They're scared. Scared that they might be judged and that they might lose all their friends. People say it is a sin to hurt yourself or body because it is a gift of God, and that people say people who hurt themselves are so selfish. They aren't selfish. They're just tired. And people who say that people should just kill themselves rather than cutting are the other reasons as well. This is so wrong. So so VERY wrong. 

Rather than you judging and judging them for what they do, have you ever asked them, "Hey, how are you feeling today?". Or, "hey how are you?". Or, "Do you want to hang out? I hope you're happy.". Sometimes all, and what they really JUST need is a smile, or a hug, and someone to help them get through. Someone they can trust who won't judge them and just accept them for who they are. 

These are actual people, and they are far different from the people who like to post and say stuff about self-harm. They really are, and if you just tried to understand or talk to them about it, you'll learn so much. 

1.) You don't post photos of you self-harming.

2.) You do NOT post photos on how you can relate to a picture that involves of a person self-harming.

3.) You do not act like you are a self-harmer all over the internet and tell everyone about it.

4.) You do not post things like, "I need help", "No one loves me", and "I can't stop cutting".

5.) Love yourself. Yes, you. You fucking love yourself no matter what happens, because if you don't, how do you expect others to love you more as well. Love. Your. Self.

You can't always be happy. Life comes in a package of up and downs, but you can choose what to make out of life. Happiness is a choice.



If you disagree with my opinion and hate me for this, because you are "one of those people who post about self-harming", and try to prove me wrong, then just please distance yourself and shut your mouth, because I do not care.
